It’s a rainy day today. But I can’t stop thinking about what I’m going to BBQ later on! The weather doesn’t factor into the equation. At all. The results of putting in the time and effort to create what some consider the BEST FOOD EVER is very much worth it. Did you get the point that the weather doesn’t matter? Seriously. It could be snowing, raining, hot, sticky, or even perfect conditions. BBQ is going to happen if it’s left up to me.

Gas BBQ? Charcoal BBQ? There are many differing opinions on how to go about getting BBQ right. Instead of going down that road and trying to nail down how it should be done…just do it. I’ve heard some call it Weber BBQ. Whatever dude! Just make the time to cook low and slow and enjoy the experience with those you choose to surround yourself with.

Get used to the idea that we were meant to share experiences together. Cooking brings people together across all cultures. Taking the time to slow down and get it right is important. Throw some BBQ into the mix and you have a recipe for happiness. It really is that simple. Outdoor living is a way of life. The time it takes to BBQ gives a close knit group of people ample time to share dreams, hopes and aspirations as they partake in their favorite beverages followed soon after by really tasty food. Full disclosure…after many types of grills over the years (gas, charcoal, electric smokers, etc) I stumbled across Kamodo grills. Now made in durable ceramic, Kamodo grills offer the possibility to explore a lot of options in the realm of BBQ. You can even make pizza at home that rivals anything you have ever bought. I have made believers out of many on just that point. Smoked mac & cheese. Unreal. Throw in a properly used thermometor and you can dial in a medium rare steak like nobodies business. What about searing it, you say? No problem with a two zone setup. You can’t go wrong with buffalo wings either. Been there, done that. There is a downside that I touched on before: You end up being very hesitant to pay for something that you can do better at home!
