It’s finally that time. Nothing too crazy, but I will say that I am convinced that the news should be spread. Kamado Joe Grills are the bomb. Any kamado style grill is something I would stand by. But as far as value per dollar spent, Kamado Joe has my vote. Hands down.
Kamado Grills at…?
Full disclosure. I bought my Kamado Joe grill from Amazon. No shame in my game either. I even opted to have someone come and assemble it. The experience was great! No complaints. Here is where you can order it yourself if you are so inclined:
Once you go kamado, you’ll never go back
Think what you want, all things are clean to clean people. Wow, I’ve learned a lot since living in the South for a few years. I’ll stop there. But keeping it real – cooking on a kamado grill is the bomb. Here’s a quote from the Kamado Joe website:
“It’s about more than cooking. The fire, the smoke, the times out on our deck with my son or my neighbor. A Kamado isn’t just a grill. It’s a lifestyle.”
This quote captures the essence of my earlier post. I can wholeheartedly recommend the expense of going with the Kamado Joe grill if you truly want to experience a world of taste as well as provide a challenge to the norm of what some people consider good food. Yeah, I said it. Challenge the status quo. You will be very pleased with the results.
Kamado grill accessories
This post would not do you justice without going into what makes the Kamado Joe grill a masterpiece. The trademarked platform they work from is called Divide and Conquer. They describe it as multi-zone, multi-level and multi-surface.
“A simple way to cook more techniques and more food all at the same time.” – Kamado Joe official website
I could not agree with them more. Here is a list and source of accessories available:
It basically boils down to this: If you want to enjoy life, you have to make time for it. The best smoked meat is cooked in a manner termed low and slow. I suggest we all take a deep breath and approach life in the same way. Only if you want to make something meaningful out of it that is. Take it down and notch and realize that not everything can happen overnight. Good food and memorable experiences don’t happen because you rush past the moment. Choose to be deliberate in your thoughts and actions. To me that is the essence of outdoor living. Making the most of the time you have to spend with those you care about. Just my opinion.
